APS is allowing fall sports to begin conditioning under strict social distancing guidelines. Football's first conditioning workout will be on Friday, October 16th. We will have conditioning workouts on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's from 3:30-5. These dates are subject to change based on several factors (weather, field availability, number of coaches available etc.) You can follow and keep up with information in "real time" by following us on Twitter or by using "Remind". If your son plans on participating all information will be sent out through our team's Remind app and our Twitter account @wlfootball. If your son needs to join our Remind app he should contact Coach Shapiro at: email@example.com. Space will be limited to the 30 participants due to social distancing guidelines. Students must leave the premises immediately following the conclusion of the workout.
- These workouts are voluntary! While pre-screening will be performed prior to the workout and social distancing guidelines followed throughout the entire workout, APS and it’s coaches cannot guarantee that the corona virus may not be transmitted.
- Each athlete must have at least 32oz of water, a mask, and pass a series of criteria/questions before being admitted to the workout:
A digital thermometer temperature check will be done prior to entering the stadium field (if the temperature is greater than 100.4 the student must go HOME)
